Official Mobile Legends Bang Bang – Themed Hotel Opens in Malacca

According to a report by Sensor Tower Store Intelligence, Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) is the dominant mobile game in Southeast Asia, with Malaysians alone spending over US$87.5 million on the game. Taking advantage of this trend, Hatten Land, a property developer based in Malacca, Malaysia, is partnering with Moonton, the developers of the game, to launch an MLBB esports hub in Malacca.

The MLBB esports hub will be integrated into Hatten Land’s Element X mall, formerly known as Elements Mall, and use Mobile Legend’s IP for the mall building’s facade and interior decorations. Hatten Edge, a subsidiary of Hatten Land, will deploy giant-sized outdoor displays of Mobile Legends characters to promote the game’s presence at Element X. The interior will feature an “eye-catching Mobile Legends and esports-themed design and appearance.” The Hatten Place hotel will also be transformed into a five-star esports hotel, with some floors dedicated to MLBB-themed rooms.

Moonton Games has committed to reserving hotel stays for its MLBB Professional League MY players and campaign use annually to promote and feature Mobile Legends. Both organizations aim to feature Mobile Legends at Arena X, Element X’s 1,200-capacity esports arena.

Hatten Land hopes to boost tourism activity in Melaka and enhance the branding of Mobile Legends through the esports hub. The company has also signed an agreement with Kitamen Holdings and Melaka eSports Association, two prominent esports organizations in Malaysia.

The MLBB Professional League (MPL) MY Season 10 began on August 5 and is expected to conclude in October, with a final battle between 10 teams.
